Dynamic Predictables releases for pubic use their Atlas First Stage
predictions for 30-day mean temperature and cumulative precipitation on the Tuesday prior to the third Thursday of each preceding month. Graphics with pattern and trend information for the United States NCDC climate
divisions can be viewed at: http://www.dynamicpredictables.com
February 2011 temperatures will be cooler than average along the coastal Pacific then
eastward across the Northern Plains. The south from Texas to Georgia will be warm, as will the Ohio Valley and northeastward into New York and up thru New England. Elsewhere temperatures will be Near seasonal
Average.
February 2011 precipitation will be heavier than usual except for the south from
California to Texas that will be Near seasonal Average.
** All areas have a prediction. There is no default to climatology (EC), i.e. an
equal likelihood of ABOVE AVERAGE, NEAR AVERAGE, and BELOW AVERAGE.**
